In between seminars, Flo and I traveled by train down to Florence, where we met our hostess Maria Laura. She drove us through Tuscany and we stayed 2 nights at her mountaintop villa. The scenic views we saw, were indescribably beautiful, magical really!! Please note that we are making photo albums of our scenic tour - so check for those soon. I told Maria Laura that I would love some "food for thought" for future designs...and I am so FULL of inspiration! Grazie!
In Rome, we had 3 wonderful classes full of very sweet, eager-to-learn students...they all did great! The first day was a technique class and we covered a lot of Between the Vines techniques, very fun...lots of learning, but wow, did they do great! Thank you to all of the students who attended and thank you especially to Maria Laura for a well-run set of classes...and for all the fun between time too! We truly enjoyed ourselves and we hope you did too!
I taught the Friends piece from Christmastime 6 the first day and the Teacups & Tulips pattern packet another day, the students did really well, I was impressed with their work!
Lots of friendly students...always with open smiles and hearts...
