Well, a lot has happened since my last blog update... First of all, again, I would like to thank each and every one of you that sent condolences on the recent loss of my Mother. I am going to post a special blog about her at a later date. xo
The first BTV Fall Seminar held last weekend was full of wonderful painters, all eager to learn fun new techniques...and brush up on some old! Thank you to everyone that helped out in any way - from Don (Valhalla), Flo, Phyllis, Marolyn, Tyler and Ciara...to the incredible caretakers of the community center Pat, Alysen and Bill....to the students that stayed after to help clean up. You all have my heartfelt appreciation!!!!
Thanks to Flo (fotos by flo) who took a lot of these photos. Enjoy!

Again it was a lovely time spent with fabulous painters...and I am looking forward to the next seminar session that starts in a couple days!!
This year I started something new...I did not paint the nametag pin for the girls as I had in the past....instead, I created a pin shape and I had a little pin contest! It was really fun...though we did not get a photo of the entries sorry... :} There was a winner in 2 catagories: Prettiest Pin and Most Creative Pin....each winner got a $25 gift certificate.
I will see if I can get all of the entrants to send me a photo of their pins and I will show you somehow. Thanks everyone for particpating, it was cool to see how creative you could be!! It will be something that I am going to be giving even more thought into for the future...hmmmm....can you hear my brain working overtime? lol I LOVED seeing how creative you all were!!! There were some really cute entries!
xo, Jamie
Don't forget that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! I have a free pattern on the website - you can paint up a quick ribbon and wear it!
Jamie,
I had the BEST time at the first session! I'm so glad that the weekend made your heart happy - as it sure did mine! Once again, thank you for the opportunity to paint with you!
Until next year,
Sheree G.
